Find the dream Docs icon on your desktop that looks like
and run the program.

In this tutorial you can click on the images for a larger view.

The program will start and take you to the log in page.



Enter your username and password and press the "Login" button.
Upon successful log in you will be taken to the document generation.



Since this is a new account you have no clients yet, so let create a client.
Press the "Add" button at the bottom of the "Clients" data control.
A new line will be created.
Click in the "Client ID" cell and put the file number used for a client of your office.
For this Example I'll use "Test-Client-1".
Hit the tab key to move to the "Client name" cell.
Enter the name of you client.
For this example I'll use "Bob Jones".
Press the "Save" button at the bottom of the "Clients" data grid.



Now that you have a client in the system you can add documents to that client.
Click on the client you just entered to highlight it.
Click on "Template" on the "Data Docs" grid.
Notice that the Data Docs area expands and the Clients area shrinks.
This way the area you are currently working in has the most screen space making it easier to use.
Press the "Add" button at the bottom of the Data Docs grid.
Click the drop down arrow for the Template combo box and select "00-INSTRUCTION MANUAL" from the drop down list.



Click "Save" at teh bottom of the Data Docs grid.
You are now ready to generate the instruction manual.
Select 00-INSTRUCTION MANUAL on the Data Docs grid.
Press the "Generate" button under the Data Docs grid.
The program will prompt you for a location to save the generated document.



User the default location and click Save.
The instruction manual will be written to your hard drive and then opened in you default word processing program.
