ESTATE PLANNING HYPOTHETICALS

Dream Docs utilizes written hypothetical situations to teach beta testers  how to use the software.

There are three types of hypotheticals:

Stage One Hypotheticals:
Initial Contact with the Client (Telephone)

Beta Testers will enter data from the hypothetical onto the Dream Docs "Initial Intake Form" and then enter the data into the online system.

Once the Stage One data is entered, a beta tester can open a new file , print the Estate Planning Information Sheet (for the initial consultation), and  create a letter confirming the initial appointment.

 Stage Two Hypotheticals:
 Face to Face Initial Consultation

Data from the Stage Two Hypothetical will be entered into the Dream Docs Estate Planning Information Sheet.   The hypothetical data will be used to create a Fee Agreement Letter, Estate Planning Documents and Trust Transfer Deed(s).

The Dream Docs system will also generate a Draft Transmittal Letter to facilitate the sending of the hard copy documents in a booklet to the client.

All Estate Planning packages include the "Frequently Asked Questions" section which will help the client read through the documents.  This "FAQ" section reduces the number of questions asked by the client.

Stage Three Hypotheticals:
Signing & Notarization of Documents

The Dream Docs system will generate a letter to the client confirming the time, date and place of the signing appointment.

Once the documents are signed and notarized, the system will generate a final letter to the client regarding trust funding, and a cover letter for recording the deed(s) with the county recorder.

Present State of Testing:

During initial testing of the Dream Docs system, we found that attorneys generally do not read instructions.  They like to figure out software themselves.
We have made the Dream Docs system more efficient by using hypothetical fact situations and intuitive document packages.

Instructions are at a minimum and you learn by actually doing!

Time Commitment:

When you first begin, it generally takes about a half hour to complete a hypothetical.  If you are able to devote a solid hour of your time during free beta testing, you should become familiar enough with the system to create your own documents!

Experienced users of the system report that it takes about 30 minutes to complete an estate plan for a client.  This includes data entry into the system (8 minutes) and complete generation of documents.

Your times may vary.  After completing the fives sets of hypotheticals, your should be very comfortable with the system.

Dream Docs will assist you in adding Estate Planning to your practice.

At $30. per month, it's cheaper than your cell phone. Even if you do just one estate plan per year, the system pays for itself.

Dream Docs offers you the capacity to become an estate planning attorney.  Any type of simple estate planning can be accomplished using the system.
